Tackle it Tuesday!

Today's tackle: my dresser top. It's a mess of papers and books and wires and junk. It is a flat surface and so it becomes a dumping ground. But I would like for it to be a place for my bedroom altar and maybe for a few pretty perfume bottles.

Ok, I went to take the before pic and ended up doing the whole clean up and re-decorate right then and there. So, without further ado, here's the before:
